The Rundown: The New Avengers take on the twisted versions of the Illuminati and will attract some much-needed help.

After a devastating explosion, Bucky and his new team of Avengers find themselves on the ropes fighting twisted clone versions of the Illuminati and discovering just how dangerous these clones can be now that Jackal is out of the picture. As the battle rages, the twisted Black Bolt unleashes more energy but is promptly stopped by Clea who is looking for her husband.

After capturing the clone of Tony Stark, Bucky finds his interrogation interrupted by a seething Namor who wants to know where his clone escaped to. With multiple members of the Kill-uminati on the loose and no idea how to stop them, Bucky implores this new team to work together, but first they are going to need some powerful help.

The Story: Humphries creates a thrilling, intense and entertaining story in this follow up. I love the inclusion of Clea to the team and her motivations for joining. The story takes some huge leaps and has some interesting twists and turns that kept me engaged throughout the knock down drag out action of the story. The issue ends with a great reveal that I am excited to see evolve.

The Art: Lima delivers fantastic art throughout the issue. The story has some great character moments and the art reflects them beautifully, especially with the twisted versions of the Illuminati. They are both visually scary and funny at the same time.
